History is the witness that testifies to the passing of time; it illuminates reality, vitalizes memory, provides guidance in daily life and brings us tidings of antiquity.

 About Me

Walking through the halls of St. Paul's Cathedral in London and kissing the Blarney Stone in Cork, Ireland while on a trip through England, Ireland, and Wales I discovered my love of history, and it is a love that has grown throughout my education. I grew up in Montrose, CO and  I attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where I completed my Bachelor's Degree in History for Secondary Education, and a minor in Geography. I also have a passion for soccer; I played on the UNC Women's Club Soccer team for three years, and I am the assistant Girls Soccer Coach in Ridgway. I also enjoy hiking, fishing, and snowboarding. I have a lot of family history in Ouray, and I am excited to continue that family story by making my own impact on the community. I look forward to a great 2017-2018 school year and working with all the amazing staff and students.
